Stewart Holness


Stewart was appointed CEO in December 2015. The early part of his career was spent in designing fly-by-wire anionics systems; He was Marketing Director from start-up up through IPO for Business Objects; appointed Executive Vice President Europe for Stanford Technology Group (now part of IBM) and EVP MicroStrategy Inc (NASD: MSTR).

Stewart is the Chairman of Prolabs Holdings, Hardware Group and Zycko Group.

Andrew Dunn

Chief Technology Officer

Andy joined Cognia in 2011 bringing with him a decade of experience in designing and developing winning cloud solutions for start-ups, multinationals and banks. Formerly, he ran the technology incubator for Cobalt Storm.

Andrew holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia.

Ian Hook

Chief Operating Officer

Ian was appointed COO in 2011. With more than two decades in sales, marketing and operations, Ian has been instrumental in ensuring Cognia’s growth across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. For the last fifteen years he has focused on cloud-based collaboration, analytics and Fintech solutions.

Ian holds a BSc in Engineering from Brighton University and an MBA from Warwick University.

Mark Prater

Mark is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience in high-growth technology ventures. He was previously at Ernst & Young and was a founding member of its global Corporate Finance Technology Practice.

Ian Whitehouse-Giles

Ian is a specialist in business development growth for existing firms or start-ups from investment to exit plan, Environmental Cutting Edge World Changing Technology, IP data and communication technologies, unified communications and collaboration tools, at carrier level. With over 30 years of direct sales, he is currently dealing in the Far East, Europe, Middle East, African and Americas market places.

Nick Hills

VP Technology

Nick has over fifteen years of experience in designing global, scalable and high performance cloud solutions. He is the system architect for the world first global payment processing platform assessed as meeting the requirements for Level 1 PCI DSS. Nick is an expert on moving enterprise workloads and applications to the cloud in a secure, scalable and resilient approach, whilst delivering best in class insight and operational intelligence into every aspect of the project.
